Stage design, in the same browser tab

Build Your Own Mars Stage

Every stage in the championship was built with the same in-game editor you get: drop a spawn point, chain checkpoints across the terrain, preview the elevation live, and test-drive your route the moment inspiration strikes.

What the editor gives you

Real terrain

Stages are laid out over baked Martian heightmaps — the same basins, dunes, and ridgelines the championship runs on, not flat-plane test tracks.

Instant test drives

Flip from editing to driving in one keystroke. Route feels wrong at speed? Flip back, drag the checkpoint, drive it again.

Checkpoint craft

Checkpoint placement is the whole art of rally design: gate width and approach angle decide whether a corner is a flat-out sweep or a handbrake moment.

Save and share

Export your stage as a manifest file. Running the game locally as a developer? The editor saves straight to disk and your stage joins the roster.

Design notes from the championship stages

The championship's own stages are the editor's portfolio — every route was placed with the same spawn-and-checkpoint tools. Stage 1 is the reference: checkpoint spacing that teaches the low-gravity rhythm crest by crest, a forgiving line with just enough dune to matter. Study how it paces you, then build the stage the championship is missing.
