Stage 2 — Crosscut
Stage 2 runs the same 2.5 km sunset patch as The Opener — same mountain, the other face. Crosscut drops an ESE chute Stage 1 never uses, left-hands onto the basin floor, and finishes on the flats north-east of The Opener's last gate.

How it drives
A three-act rally: a committed downhill, one real left-hander, then a fast basin. The gates face the road — drive through the opening and you are on the line, not cutting a zigzag.
Pace notes
The opening is a chute, not a crest. Point down it and keep it straight until the left-hander.
The left is one corner — slow in, let the rover rotate, power out onto the floor.
Once you are on the basin it is a straight. Don't wander south onto the ridge that guards Stage 1's finish.
