Mars Rally Championship, a free browser rally game, runs its daily in a tab with no download and no account: the date picks the stage and the sky, the same for everyone on that local date, and it resets at local midnight. Every other racing daily we could verify is an install or an app, among them Trackmania's Track of the Day, art of rally, Daily Racer and Daily Drivers. Five things separate them: whether the course is shared, whether attempts are limited, whether there is a streak, where the day's times go, and when the day resets.

The quick picks
- Best daily for serious competition (download): Trackmania's Track of the Day, with its own records board for each map and Cup of the Day knockouts three times a day. It needs Club access.
- Best stage-rally daily (download): art of rally, whose store listing names leaderboards for daily and weekly challenges.
- Best on a phone: Daily Racer on iPhone, with a new track each day, a worldwide leaderboard and shareable ghosts.
- Best top-down daily with ghost divisions (download): Musclecar Online, with a new player-designed track at midnight GMT.
- Best daily for unlocks rather than rankings: Horizon Chase, which in 2022 offered four daily courses for rewards such as car skins.
- Best browser daily with a streak safety net: Mars Rally Championship (ours), where a streak freeze covers one missed day. It wins only that label.
What makes a good daily racing challenge
A racing daily is only a daily if the course is shared and the day ends on a clock time rather than a personal cooldown. The general format is covered in daily games beyond Wordle, which also handles the F1 trivia dailies. Those are guessing games. This page covers only the ones you drive, and asks five questions of each.
Is the course the same for everyone? If the track is generated per player, you have a random track with a timer, and nobody can compare results.
Are attempts limited? One shot a day makes every run count; unlimited tries make it practice with a deadline. Most listings do not say which, so several cells below read "not confirmed".
Is there a streak? A streak turns a daily into a habit, and a habit needs a rule for the day you miss.
Where do the day's times go? Either the day gets its own board and winner, or the time joins a board that midnight leaves alone.
When does the day reset? At your local midnight, at a fixed hour in one time zone, or at midnight GMT. It matters if you play late or travel.

Racing games with daily challenges, compared
What we compared: whether every player gets the same course that day, whether attempts are limited, whether the game keeps a streak, where a daily time is ranked, and when the day resets. For the others we used developer pages, store listings and one news report, and "not confirmed" means none of them states it; Mars Rally Championship's details come from its code. Last checked: October 2026.
Mars Rally Championship is first because it is ours, and it is the only browser game here; the rest are grouped as downloads, then phone and tablet apps. We found no daily mode in PolyTrack's or DashCraft.io's devlogs or listings, so they are not in the table.

Mars Rally Championship: a date-seeded stage and sky
Our game, listed first for that reason. This is Mars Rally Championship's own site; everything below it is grouped by where it runs and judged on its merits.
Mars Rally Championship is a free 3D rally game that runs in the browser with no download, no install and no account. Its daily picks the stage and the sky from your local date, the same for everyone on that date, and rolls over at your local midnight. The stage comes from the three that are drivable. Stage 1, The Eight, is a 2,676 m loop normally driven at night. Stage 2, The Long Run, is 2,306 m. Stage 3, The Opener, is 1,164 m and steep. The sky is rolled too, at 32% sunrise, 30% day, 26% night and 12% sunset, so The Eight can come up in daylight. The daily challenge streak guide has seeds, quests and rewards step by step, and the daily challenge page shows today's roll.
In-game screenshot: the results screen after a sunrise daily on The Eight; retry runs it again until midnight, and a line already names tomorrow's stage and sky.
Where the time goes is the unusual part. There is no daily board. A daily run is a forward run of that stage and goes on its forward board like any other, with one best time per pilot. Attempts are unlimited: rerun the daily as often as you like until midnight. Midnight rolls the stage, sky and quests and starts a new streak day, and it leaves every board alone. The results screen's TOP X% TODAY line is a percentile against that board's times set since local midnight, not a board. Every submitted run is re-simulated on the server before its time posts.
A streak day counts on a real attempt: a finish, or a stage run that reaches 2 gates or lasts 60 seconds, on any stage and not only the daily. Free roam and the Proving Ground do not count. Skip one day while holding a streak freeze and your next real attempt spends it, so the streak carries on; skip two or more days in a row and it restarts at 1, freezes or not. You can hold two, and a rare-or-better crate with nothing new can drop one at 50%. A pilot who lapses gets a comeback drop of a rare crate and 100 credits.
The limits are plain. Only three stages are open to roll from, so the stage repeats often and the sky does most of the changing. "Same for everyone" means the same local date, so players in different time zones reach a given date's daily at different hours. With no daily board, the percentile is the only "today" ranking. Streaks live in the browser because there is no account, though an optional wallet link keeps a private profile copy that a fresh device can restore. Daily reminders are opt-in and can be switched off in Settings.
Play free — no downloadTrackmania: Track of the Day and Cup of the Day (download)
Trackmania's Track of the Day is the deepest daily in this list, and it is a download. Per Nadeo's documentation, a new community map, curated by Ubisoft Nadeo, arrives at 19:00 CE(S)T each day with its own records leaderboard, and players have 24 hours to set the best time.
Cup of the Day turns the same map into a knockout: sessions at 19:00, 03:00 and 11:00 CE(S)T, a 15-minute qualification, divisions of up to 64 players, and the last finisher or finishers knocked out each round. Both need Club access at $19.99 a year; Starter access is free but does not include Track of the Day. We could not confirm a streak system. The costs are an install and a subscription, and the streaming route is covered in Trackmania in a browser.
art of rally: daily and weekly stages (download)
art of rally, from Funselektor Labs, is a stage-rally game on PC, with PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Switch versions from August 2021. Its PlayStation listing says to compete for first place in the leaderboards with daily and weekly challenges, which implies a shared course and a shared board.
Beyond that we could not confirm much. Attempt limits, streaks and the reset time are not stated in any listing we found, and we could not check the in-game rules.
Musclecar Online: a new player-built track at midnight GMT (download)
Per its Steam page, Musclecar Online is an online top-down racer with a new player-designed track every day, switching at midnight GMT. You race ghost-lap recordings of other players in the same car type. Once enough laps exist they are sorted into six ranked divisions, and you start in F. Medals are handed out at the end of each day by lap time and spent on cars, and there are daily and monthly rankings.
We could not confirm its developer, its price or whether its servers are still active in 2026, so check the page before you buy.
Phone and tablet dailies
Three apps match the format on a phone or tablet. Several details are unconfirmed, and each entry says where.
Daily Racer
Daily Racer is a free iPhone app, per its App Store listing. It offers a new racetrack every day, records completed laps as ghosts you can race, lets you share ghosts with friends, and keeps a worldwide leaderboard. The developer is listed as Rishi Masand. We could not confirm its reset time, streaks or an Android version.
Daily Drivers
Daily Drivers is a free iPad app with in-app purchases, marked Designed for iPad. Its App Store listing describes a new course every day with five checkpoints you can take in any order, over mud, sand and ramps, and the goal is to beat friends' times. The developer is listed as Jacob Cordero. A global leaderboard, the reset time and an iPhone install are not confirmed.
Horizon Chase
TouchArcade reported on 17 March 2022 that Horizon Chase had replaced its Weekly Challenges with Daily Challenges: four different courses each day, for rewards such as car skins. The report describes rewards, not rankings. Whether everyone gets the same courses, whether there is a board and whether the mode still runs in 2026 are not confirmed, so read this entry as of that 2022 update.
A daily board or the stage's own board: which is fairer?
Trackmania gives each Track of the Day a fresh records board and 24 hours to set a time on it. Everyone starts level and each day has a clear winner, which is the cleanest version of a daily, but it needs a new track every day to feed it. The ghosts and medals around such boards are covered in time trial racing games.
Mars Rally Championship chose the opposite. A daily run goes on the stage's forward board, which keeps each pilot's best with no date window. The trade-off is that no one wins the day, and a daily time has to stand against every time already on that stage's board. The TOP X% TODAY line tells you how you did today, as a percentile against times set since local midnight. In return, a good daily run keeps counting on the stage's board after midnight.
Diagram: Trackmania gives each day's map a fresh board and a winner; our daily joins the stage's board, and TOP X% TODAY counts only times since local midnight.
Neither is automatically fairer. A daily board rewards a good day on a fresh map; a stage board rewards whoever has driven that stage the most. art of rally and Musclecar Online sit nearer the Trackmania model, with daily boards named in their listings. How any board is checked is a separate question, covered in racing games with leaderboards.
